Hosta Great Expectations (sieboldiana) (Bond/Aden - 1988) Large

Foliage Mound: 58" wide x 29" tall.

Leaves: Round and puckered, good substance, variegated, extremely wide, irregular margin of blue and green enveloping a light yellow-cream center.

Flowers: Very floriferous, dense mass of white Flowers in summer just above the Foliage .

Bloom Scape: 33" tall, foliated and straight.

Parentage: The best natural sport of H. sieboldiana 'Elegans'.

Comments: Prefers shade to 1/4 sun. All morning shade is preferred here in Ohio. Much controversy has been written about this Hosta. This is because considerable variations have developed with a great multitude of growing conditions in many states!
