Hosta June (Form #1) (Neo Plants - England - 1991) Medium

Foliage Mound: 30-37" wide x 14-16" tall.

Leaves: 6" long by 4" wide. Nice gold center, blue-green margin that is 1/8" to 3/4" wide. Has great thick substance. At times there is some streaking of the margin into the leaf center. 11-12pair of veins.

Flowers: Pale lavender from late July into August. Flowers are 2" long x 1" wide.

Bloom Scape: 16-20" tall, foliated, leafy bracts.

Parentage: A gold centered sport of H. 'Halcyon'.

Comments: Hosta of the Year for 2001! To date the first gold centered blue Hosta and Variegated from the H. 'Tardiana' grex.
